   Food: quite nice, a few nice choices to pick from
   Service: the night we went (17/08/2019), the service was honestly poor. The food was fast to arrive, however, nobody was looking after us to take the plates away,.ask if we needed anything, etc… The table next to us had to call the staff several times for them to look after both our tables.
   Place: being at the top floor of the Marina Bay Sands is obviously their selling point. Depending on where you sit, you might not have the best view, but you can then wander to the bar around the restaurant to catch a better glimpse.

   A good tip! Come at 5.30PM (not crowded yet), get the $20 voucher, buy the cocktail, then have a seat at the outdoor bar. Enjoy the DJ and the drinks, and have a good time. With the tax etc, you’ll spend only $55 for the best night at Singapore (for 2 cocktails). Thank me later 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

   I can see why reviews would be poor being in such a tourist hot spot, and the bar did look chaotic. However the restaurant experience was absolutely flawless. Maybe we were lucky, we did book a few weeks in advance, but we were seated right at the edge, service was attentive, and food delicious. The lamb dish was superb, like an English roast dinner, but spicy! Wine perhaps a bit over priced but to be expected in this part of town.

   Let’s face it – it is on the Top of Marina Bay Sands – location is great with great views all around but as expected, expensive for its drinks, not too expensive for food. We tried most of the Vegetarian choices and were pleasantly and positively surprised – food was hot and good. Service was quick but then they were trying to keep the “flow” going. Ambiance is great. PS. We were there late in the evening and we did pay a “per head $22” charge that was applied as a credit. (Image is view from the top)

   Worth a visit for the view, and the cocktails and snacks are pretty good too. It wasn’t too busy when we first arrived so be got a very personal service. Towards sunset it became ridiculously busy and the service was more difficult, but the bar was easy enough to order from A worthy alternative to paying to go to the sky deck. Expect a premium on the price of goods, but drinks and food were good.
