One man’s meat is another man’s poison. Don’t understand how this place ever got 4.2. Decided to give it another chance after my last disappointing experience years ago.
    And it still disappoints.

Tough steaks, small portions, under seasoned. Mac n Cheese taste strong of cumin powder. Food totally CMI, the only palatable thing was the coleslaw side

Service and atmosphere is decent though.

Very good food at a reasonable price. Have been there 3 times for lunch and each time was good. Got cold onion rings once my only complaint. The chicken and steak combo is a favorite for me. I recommend Buddy’s.

Needed dinner after 9pm. There were bike parking lots nearby. Walked round and saw them open with reasonable price for a quick solo meal.

Had the Western BBQ Chicken. It was moist, chargrilled with dark grill lines. Slightly smokey fragrance that stands it out from a pan fried chicken. I had steamed vegetables and coleslaw.

The ambiance was cosy. Vintage record sleeves on the wall. Frames LPs and Gatefold albums. Piano at the corner. Simple and pleasant 80s atmosphere.

I enjoyed my visit more than I expected. I’ll be back with the family.
