Cosy place serving Teochew food. Friendly staff. An impromptu decision to give the place a try. Other than the portions were a bit small, Food was acceptable. Tried the braised duck, jelly pork and seafood claypot. On the plus side, the dessert selection was quite extensive. Seems to be usual favourites. However, didn’t try any as not a fan of dessert in general.

Although a relatively newcomer in the teochew restaurant scene, the pedigree was evident in every dish. Turns out that owner’s ancestors had started this as a roadside hawker stall a hundred years ago. Even has the well preserved menu framed up as proof, which being a typical teochew ah bah, proudly shows to every single customer (quite sure he must have repeated the same story at least a thousand times)

Slightly on the pricey side but worth it given the finesse and autheticity of the food

Good Teochew Food! Try the liver ngoh hiang mixed with other side dishes of yr choosing. Love the deep fried beehoon pancake, sprinkle it with icing sugar n a teaspoon or two of black vinegar. Very unique dish! The yam paste was good too with strips of chestnuts.

Very nice Teochew food but sad that business do not seem to pick up.
They are very old school and taste is very authentic. Felt expensive this time, thus the 4 star. 5 star for food. Maybe Google should have a multi-faculty rating system like Zagat. Quality, Service, Environment and Value
