   Good food. Wide variety. Attentive service.
   Should also try the non grill items. The cambert cheese bread, beef stew, etc., are also very good.
   The buffet is expensive, so unless you want to really stuff yourself, it is not worth it.
   Make reservations during peak hours because they get really crowded. But not needed for weekdays.

   Went for the ala carte buffet. We had so much meat the fat went to our brains. Generally pretty decent beef. This is one of the few yakiniku type places where you don’t leave smelling like oily charred meat. The in-built suction system worked brilliantly.

   One of the strangely surprising highlights was the shio cucumber. Reminded me of a chicken rice type of flavour. Scallops in butter was nice as well, and the lamb chop was also enjoyable.

   Had basically all the cuts, and I’m not sure I’d do a good job telling one cut from another, but I think the karubi and brisket were particularly good. Oh and the kurobuta collar.

   This is my 3rd visit at their Star Vista branch and their service is on point and definitely much better compared to the Centrepoint branch. Our favorite is the Kagoshima Wagyu Premium Loin, so we tried the platter for 2 persons. The star on the platter was the premium loin, followed by the Chuck Karubi, Kurobuta Belly and finally the Fillet Steak. All the meat had equal numbers except the Premium Loin! There were only 5 pieces and that’s strange for a platter meant for 2 people. Well obviously I was not satisfied because it felt like I was shortchanged of the melt-in-your-mouth wagyu beef.

   We also ordered the garlic rice and the seafood pancake. Both were Yums! In total we spent about $130+ for dinner. Overall a pleasant place for Japanese bbq without smelling of bbq!

   Extremely expensive if you want to order ala carte and eat the premium beef. Buffet beef are just normal beef. Expensive!
