Great chicken rice place. They have the soy sauce chicken instead of the usual roast chicken. Sauce is fantastic and you ask it to be on the side if you don’t fancy it on your chicken. Their bbq pork is also nice

Check your bill before paying!! They issued next table bill to my dad aged 81yo when he went over to make payment. I asked my dad the cost n he showed me a bill of $77+. Not our first visit so we roughly know the cost should be below $50!! Realised it’s the wrong bill so I went over n clarified. Staff said sorry n issued a new bill of $46.80 n gave refund after punching calculator. My dad was given $22+ back n thought that it must be correct this time. Little did we realise the refund was also wrong n short of $8!! First, wrong bill ($30 diff), then wrong refund ($8 diff). So please be very careful n check n double check your bill. Already their prices are not cheap, still have to pay extra for “hidden” charges. Damn it!

I liked how the soya sauce was thick, savory, rich but not overpowering. Noodles were also al dente without the strong alkaline taste. Only thing that felt a bit out of place was the chilli which was more hainanese chicken rice style and sourish while I would prefer sambal ones. Perhaps that could help me appreciate the soya sauce and noodles better without the chilli.
Chicken quality was tender and good, not too much fat under the skin, enough for u to enjoy without feeling overwhelmed. I had chicken thigh.
Price for noodles (chicken thigh and chicken breast) was $5 each. Thought that the side plate of char siew was a bit expensive at $8. Given a good mix of fatty and meaty portions.
