   The service and the view (@ 62 floor) made the experience very enjoyable. Went for the five course meal, the rib eye steak was sumptuous. With the tasty appetitizers. Highly recommended.

   It is one of the famous restaurants in Singapore. Reason: spectacular view. Other than that it is hardly impressive. The main course – red snapper is poorly executed with overly salty sauce. Service is robotic like. They do not even bother to check whether you like the food or why there are so much leftovers on a particular course. This place is packed with corporate events everyday so why should they care?

   I freshened up and headed out for dinner. I took a grab and got there pretty fast. I took maybe two elevators to get up there. It was a little confusing but I managed to figure it out and eventually I made way into a big room with floor to ceiling windows and an amazing view. We decided to go with 5 courses and wine pairings.

   We had a birthday dinner this Saturday at Stellar and it was a fantastic one. Chef Isaak came personally to greet us and to explain how he created the dishes. in Particular, he told us about an absolutely amazing French butter we had with our appetizers that he created using a special recipe. We savoured the wine and enjoyed the fantastic view at a slow pace . Charles was the staff who accompanied us along our dinner and tried his best to accomodate our wishes. We had 3 course dinner and bottle wine (Merlot) – we loved the appetizers (Rangers Valley Wagyu bresaola & Burrata). The main we both chose Sanchoku rump cap. I really enjoyed the mash potato side dish that came with the main . The deserts were also impressive – the chocolate cloud was prepared in a special glass – they looked like magicians when they brought it to us 🙂 – and a Floral-infused meringue. We enjoyed the evening so much and despite the steep I think i will definitely go back . I have only a minor remark – we asked for a wine list and were told there was none available – so we receive a verbal explanation of the available wine. But other than that it was nothing i could could complain about. It was truly a wonderful experience!
