   On a trip to SG. Came here for a team lunch – the office is full of foodies and they set my expectations really high. Great food! Not disappointed!

   I really wanted to enjoy our reunion dinner at Thanying. I remember it to be a very fine Thai restaurant but time must have changed. The food served was very average. Old fashion cooking in a bad way. The carrots in the Lohei were coarse and unrefined. Asparagus, mushrooms, a vegetable dish was cooked in a boring tasteless brown sauce. Stuffed crab with chicken and salted egg sounded promising but was dry and tough. The best dish was the fish maw soup – good flavour. We paid $600+ for 5 adults. I selected a premium menu, but was very disappointed that it failed to bring joy on the special occasion. The restaurant was very non festive, with less than 10 tables. I will not go back again. Very disappointed.

   It is amaZing place to eat food . I worked here 6 years ago then I visit this place last year ! There is no drop in food quality ! Specially the staff very nice ! Miss rung and Mazlin !! You’re the best

   Would give 0 stars if allowed. Absolutely rubbish. Pineapple fried rice was horrendous, very average green curry, Som Tum was ok actually and the Thai fish cakes gave us all a bout of food poisoning! Will not be going there again that’s for sure!
