Absolutely excellent tonkatsu; i thoroughly enjoyed it. It didn’t feel oily, the sauce was just top-notch. My only reason for omitting a star is the inexplicable reason to not serve tap water (You’ll have to buy a bottle of mineral water or a beverage). I really don’t understand why that is the case. It’s a very basic request and should be considered a minimum level of service.

Late lunch good taste but due to I’m still eating is good the staff don’t 🧹 sweep the floor first. Dusty Will come back again. The pork lion is nice 👍 with curry sauce

I still love this place and have recommended it to many people. However I can’t help but notice the shrinking size of the pork cutlet over time. Maybe a few visits ago I had already noticed it and hoped it was just a one-time thing… But it seems to have maintained or gotten smaller. It used to be REALLY worth it, but with the gradual increase in price and smaller amount of meat, it’s not *quite* an amazing deal… A friend I recommended recently also commented how it’s too small for the price. I still love it though (thus 4 not 3 stars). Special mention goes out to GREAT service. I hope the management and chef can review this!

Went with my family for dinner after reading the raving reviews. Frankly….is it just us or…..I don’t know. Agreeably they are the better Tonkatsu locally but seriously…we yet to feel impressed. Think we will return soon again to have a 2nd go …. just to make sure we do not miss the gem …if it is what many think it is : )

When it first started, the quality was good and consistent. Standards started dropping and it has been a while since I last ate there. Just went last week. The rice and soup are still the more consistent items served. The Tonkatsu had a lot of skin in it which. Tried both the premium and the miso Tonkatsu. The premium Tonkatsu had a lot more skin in it. Didn’t know fatty meat made it premium.
