Rang Mahal is a fine-dining Indian restaurant.

Had a work dinner there and this is definitely a place to impress if you have important guests to entertain.

Ambience is very classy yet cosy, and not overly chi-chi.

Service staff is prompt and attentive.

Do the set dinner menu if you wish to get the decision-making out of the way quickly.

Michelin starred dining with much to be desired. This place is often mistaken as part of the Pan Pacific Hotel but when you call the operator will direct you to their own line.
The food is reputably good and pricey.
Service leaves aspects to be desired – attentiveness, gruff requests for additional orders and having to repeat orders for beer and drinks.
Not what you would expect for starry place. And ants.

Good food. Innovative starters. I found it spicy though later chef customized spice levels for my taste. Must try – lamb chops, asparagus starters

From the service and experience, it’s really excellent. However the food is not exactly mind blowing for the amount you pay for, bearing in mind that this is one of the oldest and finest fine dining restaurant. You can go for executive lunch on weekdays.

The food sure was good, service was quite good as well. But the car parking was expensive, and it is not easy to get to pan pacific area.
