Easily located lovely black and white house along Scotts Road. Was here for the Sunday brunch buffet with friends for the first time. There was a private event happening on the grounds, so I was expecting the staff to be pretty busy that day. The restaurant manager was in a pleasant mood and showed us to our table. The service staff were attentive enough to make sure our glasses were full and clear off the used plates. The spread of food for the brunch wasn’t exactly expansive but definitely it was more refined to what I am used to in other famed restaurants or eateries. The manager was nice enough to come round our table to check if we had an enjoyable meal. This might just be a brunch service but overall I was truly expecting more out from a Michelin restaurant.

The only reason for the one star is so I can post a review. Terrible overpriced restaurant. Poor service provided by the staff. The manager doesn’t not take a negative review gracefully nor does he offer an explanation nor an apology.
The appetizers were overpowering with spices and salt. Making your stomach turn after the first few bites. Entree is mediocre at best. My husband and I asked for the check after way into our entree! Not Michelin star worthy!
Do not waste your time or money on this restaurant.

Beautiful building, and we were excited given the restaurants reputation with a Michelin star. However, the food was quite average and rather overpriced. We had the non-vegetarian tasting menu (tour of India) – not the most exciting Indian food I’ve had in Singapore. The restaurant also has very cold AC so bring a jumped! Whilst I was there, 5 separate diners asked for shawls
