The restaurant layout is a very standard Chinese style one. As mentioned by other reviewers, lots of big round tables but there are also small table for 4 persons. The food and drink are good. I specially ordered the chicken leg, the taste is good and the chicken meat texture is good as well. But, there are many chicken rice restaurants offer similar type/quality of food. I don’t find any special from this restaurant. Suggest to give it a try, but definitely not a must.

I’m a big fan of chicken rice. Wife brought me here and after tasting it, I must say it’s pretty average. The rice was not as fragrant as I had expected. The texture of the chicken meat were not as tender and soft as expected of a hainanese chicken. But in view of the price, pretty economical.
The chili and ginger condiments were also very average. It was pretty packed when I was there. Many tourist group was dining there as well.

Stumbled upon this joint and being a Singaporean and lover of chicken rice (duh), decided to give it a try. Proceeded to order a plate of chicken thigh rice and was disappointed at the measly portion of chicken meat. Even by city location standards, it was miserable. More bones than meat to be honest.
Subsequently asked if I could add 2 dollars of chicken meat and was told that if I had requested for that when I ordered they could have done it for me. But because the dish was already served it would cost me 5 dollars. Confused, I didnt pursue the matter.
The waitress then said the next time I came again I should tell them to add the meat during the order process. By then, I told myself this was the last time I would be patronising this shop. Shame really, because the food was actually decent. But then again, the portion of meat was so measly I hardly got a proper taste of it.
