Ordered the “extreme tendon”. New fancy name for tempura. The bouquet of pork you see is the ginger pork. Matcha green tea with red bean as drinks. The drinks are a tad too sweet, this is even after the ice melted. The cups were 65% ice. The tendon amount was substantial. Very filling. A tad too oily but tasty. Pork bouquet won the day. Overall 3.75 stars. Had to round it up. Will come again.

The restaurant had a good ambience to it that made the entire experience much more pleasant. However, in terms of the food and prices, it’s rather comparable to other Japanese restaurants. Nothing too fanciful and amazing that will blow your mind. Overall a decent place for a Japanese dining. However, that being said, do give their hotpot or man bowls as they call it a try, it’s seemingly a possible speciality or niche they are trying for.
Service wise, nothing to out of the ordinary or fantastic, as basic and required as it can be provided unto you.

The restaurant was fully occupied (as we visited lunch hour) and meals were served a bit late. Nevertheless we could not stop being surprised to see the meals which is tasty as expected but much bigger than expectation (more beautiful and bigger than the photo in the menu) 👍

Too many staff standing around. Very warm inside the restaurant. City sq mall outlet would be a better dining option.

Student Meals are unbeatable value. Popular with students from the many schools around the area. Food is good, though service staff can be really overworked and understaffed at times.

Seating available for medium and larger sized groups upstairs.
