We had a nice lunch at Yamato on 21/7/19.
Mr Sam Tan was very warm and helpful in his customer service .The food was fresh and nice. We enjoyed the different variety of food ,especially the Unagi.
The cake for my daughter was really fresh and great.

One of the few food options in Oxley Bizhub. Went during weekday lunch and was reasonably empty so we did not wait long to get seated and get our food.
Fresh ingredients. Salmon was very meaty and the tuna was pretty good.
Nice ambience with 3 types of Japanese food.
Value for money. Big portions for the double don per photo.

Good food. Surprising service is good. See from review service suck but today it’s good.

1.5 stars. Overpriced unagi set. Unagi is thin and while grilled well, lacks the juiciness one is expecting for the price it commands.Absolutely unlike it’s Japan namesake Man Man. Disappointing – no repeat visit for me

Menu has changed since when they first started. While the food is not bad, it’s over-priced. We spent almost $60 per person for dinner. We did not have any alcohol. We just had ocha and had 1 bottle of mineral water (they don’t serve warm water)
Sashimi & Wagyu beef – expensive but still acceptable for the quality and quantity.
Eel – $39.40 for a L-size serving. It was over-cooked. Not worth it for something not well done.
Stay away from:
1) Mushroom soup & french onion soup – definitely not worth it for $12.80 per bowl. It’s not even worth more than $6 per bowl. I’ve had better tasting soup at a lower price.
2) Garlic fried rice – it was a bigger than usual portion (compared to other Japanese restaurants) but not worth $20 for plain garlic fried rice.
3) Appetisers like:
a) chawanmushi ($6 for a usual cup. Nothing fancy inside)
b) Takoyaki ($8.90 for 5 pieces)
