   Great Chinese food. An old classic place where the suckling pig is really nice. We celebrated a friend’s birthday there, with corkage only at 10dollars a bottle of wine.

   Also, noodles here are nice. We went on a Saturday night and the queue was so long, so do remember to make a reservation early. We also enjoyed the great service from the staff there, they seemed really familiar with the menu and smiled all the time.

   Quality of food have dropped drastically. Food ordered that were their specialties have tasted poorly over the years. Dun think I will consider going again

   The hokkien taste of the mee and pork buns! Oyster omelette and wu xiang! 🤤🤤

   Just had dinner at this place last evening. I learnt of them when they were at Amoy Street and we regularly had dinner there especially on birthday occasions as the elders like their food and cooking style.

   Even moving to this location, the decor is as close to the old place as possibly doable and I can recognise a few of the service staff who are now seniors.

   The food taste almost the same like before and I always order the same specialty dishes eg the braised fish maw soup, the ngor hiang and crab roll, stir fried watercress with whole garlic n hae bee (dried shrimp), the fried “oyster” omelette (order variation of shrimp instead of oyster) and the must have fried hokien mee ( flat yellow noodles).

   And, they always throw in a bowl of chinese sweet soup on the house, at the end of the meal..usually green bean soup but had the barley bean curd gingko nut yesterday.

   Despite comments like jaded dated decor etc etc, they are still pulling in the crowd even on a weekday night.

   Perhaps these patrons grew up eating at this place when young (I did) and the taste keeps them coming back with their other generations.

   Highly recommended!

   Good old days food & staff. Good to have them here from amoy street.
